Standing on the Rock Ministry and Trust is committed to truth, honor, and education. Scripture tells us that: “Our people perish for lack of knowledge.” As we sentient, moral beings face the possibility of increasing tyrannical measures, it is more important than ever to know how to stand and speak up for our rights and wellbeing, as well as protect our assets for ourselves and our future generations. This is a foundational Bible quote for Equity law:
“Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.” Matthew 5:25-26
Law is nothing without Equity, and Equity is everything, even without Law. Those who perceive what is just and what is unjust only through the eyes of the law, never see it as well as those who behold it with the eyes of Equity. Law may be looked upon, in some manner, as an assistance for those who have a weak perception of right and wrong, in the same way that optical glasses, are useful for those who are shortsighted, or those whose visual organs are deficient. Equity, in its true and genuine meaning, is the soul and spirit of the law; positive law is construed, and rational law is made by it. – Institutes of American Law 1882, Vol. 2, s. 3724, para. 4.” by John Bouvier.
There are maxims in Equity. These are not a rigid set of rules but are general principles. They are inarguable. To violate a maxim, is to come out of Equity.
Two important maxims are: “One who seeks Equity must do Equity.” “One who comes into Equity must come with clean hands.” https://standingontherock.com/
Important notes on this: 1) if you are bringing Equity, you must know how to stand on the rock with it through out; and 2) if you are seeking an Equitable remedy, then you must not mix the Equity process with any other process out there.
