The old covenant is taken away; the new covenant through Jesus Christ is all important for salvation. God abolished the law which no man could fulfill. Christ fulfilled the law giving us a new covenant. The old testament law is abolished once and for all. Christ alone fulfilled the New Covenant. Abraham was saved by faith. It’s all about faith in Jesus Christ.
Now, anyone can be saved through Jesus Christ who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Legalism rules the Jesuit Jews just as anyone without faith in Christ numbers the walking dead.
When Christ was sacrificed on the cross, He said it is finished. The Roman Mass is mockery in the face of Christ similar to the Jewish legalist striving to improve on what Christ accomplished on the cross. No man can improve on the sacrifice Christ made. Man’s works are like filthy rags.
When Christ redeemed me over 40 years ago, I saw the glory of God which I can never forget, thus I was forever changed resulting in over 40 years in worldwide ministry as a medical missionary & evangelist. To Father be the glory. I do understand why no man can look at our Father and live. You don’t need anyone but Jesus Christ.
Remember; the harvest is plenty and the laborers are few. Those of us who have been sanctified in Christ were chosen in Him, before the foundation of the world. Jesus completely fulfilled the law that man could never keep and to try is an insult to Christ. We are perfect, holy and righteous in Christ. There is nothing we could do to improve on what Christ did. All of our works are as filthy rags.
Mans works always fall short of the glory of God just as the Jews hate Jesus Christ and always have. There is only one who is righteous and pure and that is Christ.
